Online towing calculator
Privacy policy
This policy explains how NewLake Tow Trucks handles information submitted through the Maitland towing calculator.
Information we collect and why
When you request an estimate, we collect the pickup and drop-off addresses, vehicle and job details, preferred timing, and the name, phone number and email address you provide. We use this information to calculate and email an estimate, respond to your enquiry, and manage an accept or decline response.
Google Maps Platform
Google Maps Platform provides address suggestions and driving-distance calculations. Address searches, selected place identifiers and route endpoints are sent to Google to provide those features. Google handles information under the Google Privacy Policy.
Storage and service providers
Autocomplete prediction lists are not stored. A selected address may be used for the transaction you requested. Route distances are used to calculate the estimate but are not retained in the quote-response record. Quote response links expire after 30 days, and expired response records are removed during service cleanup. Transactional email is delivered through our email service provider.
Website analytics
We use PostHog to understand website visits, referral sources and how people use the towing calculator. Analytics may include page URLs, referral and campaign information, general device and browser details, and broad location derived from an IP address. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle details or pickup and drop-off addresses to PostHog. Automatic form and click capture and session recording are disabled; only selected website and calculator events are recorded.
We do not sell the information submitted through the calculator. We may retain ordinary business correspondence where reasonably required for customer service, accounting, dispute resolution or legal obligations.
